Ironically, this pair has stirred up more controversy than any other Star Wars pairing, even in the EU (Expanded Universe). While people seem to have no problem with slash pairings (Ani/Obi, Ani/Palpatine) or Padmé being paired off with another bloke (Obidala, Bail/Padmé), for Anakin to fancy another woman has now become taboo!

In one of Cariel and Jody's fanfictions, Enticement, Padmé doesn't even exist, but the fic has received reviews from adamant Padmé/Anakin fans saying that it's not plausible for Anakin to love another woman outside of Padmé. What's great about AUs is that anything can happen.

Cariel and Jody firmly believe that any ship, unorthodox or not, is just as valid as the next. They read and enjoy all sorts of pairings, even unconventional ones, in various fandoms and hope that you will enjoy the contents of this site, even if that means stepping outside of what you normally expect from a Star Wars romance.
