How to Use Windows Movie Maker

First you open WMM, obviously haha, then you import your vids. Make sure that you don't have it create clips for you because it takes forever and it's just a horrible idea...believe me. It makes more work for you.

so first you need videos to play with!
Go to File---Import and select all of your films!

after you import all of your movies, it is essential to make sure only xvid and divx decoders are being used...
under Tools---Options---Compatibility
